Ingredients
Pork Loin
- 1 boneless pork loin (3 lb / 1.36 kg)
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp (5 mL) garlic powder
- 1 tsp (5 mL) paprika
- 1 tsp (5 mL) kosher salt
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) black pepper
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ½ cup (170 g) honey
- ½ cup (120 mL) chicken broth
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 62 g) Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 g) garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 medium lemon (about 2 tbsp / 30 mL)
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) black pepper
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Pat the pork loin dry with paper towels. Drizzle with the olive oil, then season all sides evenly with the garlic powder, paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork loin for 2–3 minutes per side until a deep golden-brown crust forms.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the seared pork loin, coating it evenly.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 50–60 minutes, basting the pork with the sauce every 15 minutes. Cook until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15–20 minutes before slicing.
Slice the pork loin and drizzle with the honey garlic sauce before serving. Accompany with roasted potatoes and your favourite seasonal vegetables.

TIP:
Let the pork sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking for more even results. Sear the pork without moving it until it naturally releases from the pan for the best golden crust. Baste every 15 minutes to build a rich, glossy honey garlic glaze. Use an instant-read thermometer and cook to 145°F (63°C) before resting. Rest the pork for at least 15 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy. Roasted potatoes make the perfect side, soaking up the delicious honey garlic sauce.
